Which course is right for me?

This depends greatly on your fitness, ability, experience and possible previous tuition. We cater for ages & abilities; from the complete beginner to those looking to hone their race skills. The coach on the day can assess your ability and recommend what skills would suit best.

What do I need to attend?

A working bike and helmet are essential! Although they can be hired on the day from Run & Ride. A checklist will be provided once a course is booked. You will also need enough fluids & sustenance to last the duration of the course, which can be purchased from the Grounds Café.

Is there an age limit?

Not really, as long as you're fit and able. Our Grass Roots courses specifically cater for the younger riders (ages 7-12). Other courses have an age-related restriction in that any rider, age 12 or below, must be accompanied by an adult. A maximum of 3 children per adult.

Can the weather effect the course?

Whilst we try to run the courses all year round, sometimes the weather has other ideas. Your safety is our primary concern and if the conditions do not allow, or if the weather is particularly bad, then the course will be postponed and rescheduled. Check out the upcoming weather in Rugeley
